Charlene Tilton

Charlene Tilton grew up in Hollywood, "the land of dreams". By the age of eight she was performing in neighborhood theatre recitals, as well as musical and dramatic plays. Miss Tilton attended the famous "Hollywood High School", where she appeared in their performing arts highly acclaimed stage productions. In fact it was on that stage that she was discovered by a Hollywood theatrical agent who signed her on the spot right after seeing Charlene in a show. Her career began at age fifteen, when she appeared in a series of five Japanese clothing commercials with Ringo Starr of "The Beatles". Then was immediately cast to play Jodie Foster's best friend in the original "Freaky Friday" for Disney. Various television shows, and films followed, including "Happy Days" "Eight is Enough", and the movie "Big Wednesday" with Gary Busey to name a few.
At seventeen Charlene was cast to star as "Lucy Ewing" in one of the most popular television series of all time, "Dallas". Lucy's marriage to Mitch was the second highest rated episode just behind the famous "who shot J.R.?" cliff hanger. Dallas became the # 1 show world wide. During her time on "Dallas" Miss Tilton was featured on more than 600 magazine covers internationally, and received more fan mail at CBS than any other actor on the network.
In 2004 Miss Tilton was a co-producer with Henry Winkler and Michael Levitt on the CBS two hour Dallas reunion special, "Return to Southfork" which garnered high ratings.

Charlene's love for theatre has taken her across the pond to London twice. She appeared as "Honey" in "Who's afraid of Virginia Wolfe" and in 2008 "The Wicked Step Mother" in the musical "Cinderella", and received rave reviews for both performances. She feels so honored to have stared with Imogene Coca in "The Foreigner" directed by Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks in San Francisco. In Los Angeles Charlene again received great reviews and L.A. Weekly's pick of the week for starring in "Tell Veronica" at the Hudson Theatre, and she received an L.A. Theatre Critics Award for playing eight different characters in "Dish Babies".
Currently Miss Tilton is in pre production to star in "The Tammy Faye Bakker Story" that she is producing. Charlene is so blessed that Tammy Faye personally granted her the rights to develop her life story.
On a personal note, Charlene spends her time working with several charitable organizations, and taking care of and loving three special need dogs and one cat, that she rescued with her daughter Cherish.
